The Stones

Iolite — The stone of inner vision. Called the "Vikings' stone," iolite was used by Nordic navigators as a natural polarizing filter to locate the sun's position on overcast days. It guides, directs, and dissipates mental fog. In lithotherapy, it is known for stimulating intuition, promoting emotional clarity, and supporting decision-making.

Biochemical Dimension of Iolite — An aluminum and magnesium cyclosilicate (cordierite), iolite has an orthorhombic crystal structure with strong pleochroism: it changes color depending on the viewing angle, shifting from deep violet to blue-gray. This unique optical property demonstrates its sensitivity to light variations. Its magnesium content helps stabilize nerve impulses related to disorientation and facilitates healthy emotional management.
